What you get with Wealthy Choice Publishing

World Wide Distribution: Your Book will be assigned a unique ISBN number, as well as inclusion in RR Bowker's "Books in Print", the industry's most up-to-date listing of book, spoken-word audio, and video products. Your book will also be available via online retailers like Amazon.com, Borders.com, Target.com, VirginMega.com and Waldenbooks.com and customers can purchase your book at thousands of traditional bookseller worldwide through channels like Ingram Publisher Services, Borders, Bertrams, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Baker & Taylor, BookSource, etc.

Wealthy Choice Publishing sells your books to booksellers and leading wholesalers via Ingram Publisher Services (IPS) at an industry leading 45-55% discount. Why is this important? The leading book wholesalers in the US and Canada (Ingram and Baker & Taylor) and in the UK (Bertrams and Gardners), are involved in roughly half of the trade book sales in the United States and United Kingdom. The new deeper wholesale discount means that Ingram and Baker & Taylor will resell your book to thousands of retailers at discounts of 45-55% off this list price. The deeper discount gives book retailers more incentive to sell your title. The discount and margin book stores receive is similar to traditionally published titles. They can order replacement copies from their favorite wholesaler-whether that's Ingram, Baker & Taylor, or any other major wholesaler.

Authors with Wealthy Choice Publishing are placed in the Ingram Advance Catalog upon release. The Ingram Advance is a monthly catalog that is distributed to booksellers and libraries around the world.

When books are first released through Wealthy Choice Publishing, Ingram will produce a short paragraph describing the title. Retail pricing information and a black & white cover image will also be included.

A unique relationship with Google

Wealthy Choice Publishing opens your book to the worldwide Google audience that's searching for them. The Google Print program enables us to add your book to Google's search results and increase your books' visibility, attract new readers and boost book sales.

Clicking on one of your titles in the Google search results will lead users to the page from the book on which the search terms appear, as well as links leading to online booksellers. When a user does a Google search, books that contain their search terms—will show up in the search results. Each Google Print search result listing will show the book’s title and author, a short excerpt containing the highlighted search terms, and the excerpt’s page number.

Clicking on your book on a search results page takes users to a Google Print content excerpt page–the scanned page from your book that contains their search terms. Users will be able to view information like the book’s author, publisher and cover image. There's also an easy way to do searches within your book, and the 'Buy this Book' links take users directly to leading online booksellers.

Users get a taste of your book—but only a taste. We allow Google to scan the full text of your book because we want people to be able to search all its content. But users can only access a limited portion of any given book each month. They can also only browse two pages backward and forward from any page where their search term appeared.

All the books we send to Google are hosted on Google servers and protected by the same security as Google.com’s search data.

To further protect your book content, printing and image copying functions are disabled on all Google Print content pages.

Wealthy Choice Publishing offers even more with...

Generous Royalties: Our publishing agreement allows you the benefits of traditional publishing while enjoying a generous 20% royalty - higher than industry standards.

One-on-one Author Support: Our one-on-one author support means you get the expert assistance you need throughout the publishing process.

Custom Cover: Your book will have a custom-designed, four-color cover, created with your input, by our professional book designers. We welcome your ideas - and you can even submit your own pictures or graphics if you wish.

Author Purchases: Since our inception, Wealthy Choice Publishing continues to stand out from the crowd of small publishers. In a world full of self-publishing companies, or vanity press printers posing as publishers, with goals seemingly set on selling you as many copies of your own book as you can or can not afford, Wealthy Choice Publishing rose above with its policy against marketing to or requiring you to purchase any copies of your own book.

It is rewarding to see your words in print, but we want to help you make publishing a financially rewarding experience too. With this in mind, we offer our authors fixed pricing on book purchases. Not a discount off retail price.

Rapid Availability: Your book will be made ready for sale in just 120 days or less; months faster than industry standards. With strategic launches that maximize your exposure and profits.

Manuscript Submission Process and Policies

  • The process that will transform your manuscript into a printed and bound book is launched at what is called The Entrepreneurial Vision™ Mastermind. In this mastermind, the people who will be working diligently to guide your book successfully through the production process, including the creative director (who is primarily responsible for The Entrepreneurial Vision™, design and schedule) and the designer (who is primarily responsible for cover art, typesetting, and proofs), discuss such matters as the entrepreneurial aspects the manuscript needs, exactly how cover art should be handled, whether any essential items from the manuscript package are missing, and the design of the published book.

  • Soon after The Entrepreneurial Vision™ Mastermind your Author Relations Manager will contact you, in order to ask any questions we might still have about the manuscript and to tell you what the production schedule is going to be.

  • At this point the creative director will have the designer prepare the cover layout, and will be closely monitoring his or her work. Depending on the extent of any recommendations, the swiftness of the schedule, and several other factors, you will receive a cover proof to review.

  • Just about the time we are finalizing the cover of your book, you will get the page proof of the front matter (which includes the title page, Contents, Preface, etc.) to review.

  • The next step in the production process is typesetting. The resulting page proof, which will look pretty much like a published book, is sent to you for a thorough review, as well as to an experienced freelance proofreader. The proof may be sent in stages, and you will have a week or so to scrutinize each stage.

  • You will return reviewed page proof to the production supervisor, who will oversee the generation of revised proof, which will contain any changes you marked as well as typos and design errors discovered by the proofreader.

  • While the page proof is being checked, the index must be prepared, if desired, either by you or by an experienced freelance indexer. (If a freelancer prepares the index, you must pay for it.) At an early point in the production process, the creative director will discuss the index with you, and can give you guidance if you decide to do it yourself.

  • Within a few weeks of this, your completed book will be sent to the printer, and about a month later, printed and bound copies will start being shipped to our warehouse and thus will be available for purchase.

  • You are now a published author. Congratulations!
